STARTING SOON:

Top Dogs (20/01/11)

Greyhound racing from Hove

1, NAP Directors Wit (20.18 Hove) – Mark Wallis’ kennels have hit a purple patch since the turn of the year and they can register another open race win this evening with the fast starting selection. He totally fluffed his lines when a hot favourite at Hall Green on his last run, but is usually a very reliable trapper. You can rest assured that Wallis has got his hound in tip top form over his three-month break from racing and should return to winning ways sooner rather than later.

2, Eye Onthe Tempo (20.51 Hove) – The 2009 champion trainer could be celebrating an open race double if the selection can run to the same level that he produced on his last run in a trial, where he beat All That Noise by three lengths. That form has been franked with All That Noise’s imperious run at Romford last night; expect another big run from the litter brother to Eye Onthe Storm.

3, Droopys Bianca (21.07 Hove) – Claude Gardiner’s hound has been improving race-by-race since stepping up to the longer distances, and if he comes on again from his last run, then he could be walking away with the juicy £750 prize.
